The University is considering a proposal from s2e Technologies to transform the site into an innovation hub with a modern data centre.

The university will close for the holiday break at the end of the work day on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, and will reopen Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. 

The Indigenous Health Learning Lodge at McMaster hosted community leaders and experts for a two-day event to recognize and reflect on the anniversary of release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s report.

The university and Service Employees’ International Union (SEIU), Local 2, representing Machinists, have reached a tentative agreement.

McMaster and Unifor Local 5555 Unit 5, representing Operations and Maintenance staff at the university, have reached a tentative collective agreement.  

First of all, it’s free: Faculty and staff can book the venue in the heart of downtown Toronto free of charge for events, student recruitment, meetings, training, presentations and more.

Professors Carmel Mothersill and Soo Hyun Byun will lead the project to develop advanced radiation detection instruments for nuclear power plants and investigate the health and environmental effects of low-level radiation.

The educational partnership reflects a shared commitment to community-based clinical training, with more than 375 clinical placements each year across Halton.

The Trans flag will be flown at half-mast above University Hall, and other flags on campus will fly lower as well, to mark this solemn observance. 

A dedicated teacher and mentor, as well as a Distinguished University Professor and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Allen was part of the McMaster community for 39 years.

The 162-room hotel will provide accommodation for visiting researchers, industry partners and academic guests, allowing the university to foster meaningful collaborations.
